 I had rescued a robin bird once but will think twice before doing it again haha. I had to go out and hunt worms for it because it was so little and I used a heat lamp and not knowing anything about feeding them I got up through the night every couple hours to feed it. After a couple weeks it started flying a bit. I was careful not to touch it with bare hands though and when it started to fly I put it back with the rest of it's family and to my surprise the momma bird actually started feeding it! I was so releived of my worm hunting and feeding duty and so releived that the momma took over and surprised.

I adopted our doggy from the shelter too and I felt so bad having to leave the others behind, it is sad to wonder about what all they went through and how they ended up there and what will happen to them. I am an animal lover. | |

I was on my way to college. It reminded me when I used to have a turtle, her name was "LOLA". Actually I didn;t know if it was a female or male. LOL

However my parents were completely against having animals in the house therefore we just put out some food and it drank it. I had to avoid petting the cat too. Well, it was fun while it lasted. I eventually moved countries leaving that cat behind.

I try to keep the lids on our cans when I set them out but I usually see the neighbors garbage all over the place torn into. Good job for that! Most cats are strays around here and would run away. People need to take care of their animals or have them fixed. | |
