is this indigestion or what?

Ok, I have suffered from this since I was like ten years old and I'm not sure if it is indigestion or what. I've tried every antacid available and nothing really helps. It usually happens in the morning, but when my daughter woke up several times during the night it happened then too. If I wake up and stay in bed for more then ten minutes, I will feel this gnawing sort of pain in my stomach, sort of like a hunger pain but not. If i stay in bed it does not go away, but if i get up and/or eat, it usually stops. Any clue what this could be?
