What would you do...  | |  I have a friend who's choosing between attending his only sister's wedding in the province (3 hr-travel from our school) and taking our scheduled long examination on the same day and same time.
her ONLY sister wishes her to come on her wedding day. her sister even postponed the wedding and move it to another day just for her younger sister, my friend, to attend. all the post-wedding celebration were also moved into different dates. the wedding cant be moved to another date again.
our long examination will be on the same day and same time of her sister's wedding. our professor doesnt give special examination.
it will take her 3 hours to get to her sister's wedding if she will follow after the examination. but at that time, wedding will be over.
in my opinion, id let her come to her sister's weddingü
she's her only sister and they have been though thick and thin together. by the way, in our country, marriage isnt a stepping stone in relationships. when you marry, it's difficult to invalidate the marriage.
if youre in her position, which will you choose?

If she is in college, she can always take the class over again but like you said earlier, this is her ONLY sister's wedding and there will be no more wedding from her sister. I would say she should go to her sister's wedding and take the class over again.
