to obtain a key from the bottom of a suspended glass beaker filled with acid, pour the acid out.
BAD IDEA
to obtain a key from the bottom of a suspended glass beaker filled with acid, stick your hand completely in, then pull it out and go "OWWW!," then put your hand back in and retrieve the key.
