The little Mosque on the Prairie!!!

There is a new Canadian sitcom that deals with the life of Muslims:
I just so a reportage about it on CNN International, and found it very interesting, intelligent and funny! The creator of the show, a very atractive muslim woman was explaining the whole process and intentions of creating a sitcom like this one.
Do you think it is a funny thing? Would you watch it? Or you think it is too risky to be using this point of view for westeners? I really would love to watch it, but I'm in Germany, not in Canada! What are your thoughts about this. Following is a bit of information I've found and the link to it.
