I know I am not helping you here but I just had to tell you that I have never even heard if it never mind trying it.

Yes I tried it and found it hard to use and not worth the effort. I finally bought Adobe Photoshop Elements 2 on Ebay for less than $20 and it does everything I want for the web.

I work on Private Label Rights products for resale and they usually come with Photoshop .psd files, and Elements handles them very well. That is one of my main uses.

I also process about 50 photos a week for a car dealer website I maintain to make extra money and it's perfect for that too.

I fought buying Adobe for years and tried so many graphics programs I get sick thinking about how stupid I was. I must have spent hundreds of dollars and could have bought Photoshop CS and saved money. I'm so glad I finally found out about Elements and gave it a try. I downloaded the free trial before I bought it.

if you know photoshop then you definitely know gimp^_^

ive been using gimp since i moved to LINUX OS^_^

for it great. i have done a lot of photo editing from it. you just got to have a lot of patience for it if you use it for the first time^_^

I use many different graphics programs and GIMP is definitely one of them. First off it is free .. a very good price (grin) ... There are many tutorials and much help by fellow users online about the basics and advanced projects. I do enjoy using it and find as I learn more about it am using it in the place of other programs I have used before.

I have tried using this program for a couple of times. Its just like photoshop but I think photoshop is better in some way. What i really like about this program is that it's open source. You don't have to pay for the license. Just try using it. It works like photoshop but the user interface is a little bit different. Enjoy using!!!
