Do advertisements influence you in buying a product?

I am not hugely brand loyal either but advertisements don't generally sawy me, with the exception of food commercials. For some reason when I see certain food commercials i just have to go out and get whatever it is they are selling. For everything else I am generally a price shopper and will go for the best price.

I am actually quite loyal to a brand once I get used to it. I'm not really big on change, so once I like something I tend to stick with it.

As for ads, though, they don't really influence me all that much. I might get a catchy ad stuck in my head, that's for sure.*laugh* Meaning, like, one with a song in it. But when it comes to buying, especially a large purchase, I would research people's thoughts and opinions on the internet before spending a large amount of money. I did this before my family spent money on our first digital camera, because that was a lot of money put forth and it was a really big decision. I did not look for ads online, I read product and user reviews. That is usually what I do for something like that.

If a commercial describes a product that has features that I want or have been looking for, it will get my attention, but I'm sure not going to buy Pepsi instead of Coke because of a commercial (or vice-versa). One way that advertisers can affect my buying decisions is by being annoying. I have frequently vowed to never buy a product because their annoying commercials tick me off. I swear I will never buy Head On and will never apply directly to the forehead. I will never use Vonage. I'm not even sure what it is, but that commercial gets on my last nerve.

Sometimes they do, especially when the advertisement is hilarious, eye-catching, unique or attractive. It's like they draw your interest so much that when you come face to face with the product in the market, you remember the advertisement and buy the thing.

in India what we buy is the same product that's advertised so there's nothing like a product we have not come across. we do have products coming from abroad which are not advertised but available locally in stores.

Sometime they do influence us. But most of the time just doesn't mind them. It all depend on what's being advertise. No not a branded person, usually anything that is same kind of products but at a much lesser price; switching time. Not very loyal to any brand.

Sometimes when i hear ads and i rilly like them i keep singing them,if the slogans are very catchy i tend to keep on saying them
And when i ultimately buy those products those slogans are on my mind and then i tend to try those brands
Sometimes i really find good products but my word the experience is not always good so just dont take the advertisement into account do check out the details before u buys something

Advertisement are made for the purpose of influencing people only therefore every one gets influenced in buying a product but what we must see is that we really need a product or not or do we need a change in our existing usage of products.

I buy from add. Moreover I know many new items from add. even I visit any site from add or referred by anyone.
