If you're storing it for any length of time, you do want to remove the batteries, the acid could leak from the batteries and control the electrodes. It could also be one that doesn't stand the test of time (like some men I know, LOL!). Check my website (in my profile) and you'll see our Limited Lifetime Warranty toys--they get replaced 3x for things like a burned out motor. Very nice! | |
