|  Hello there. I think there are many followers of Christianity in MyLot. I'm not a Christian, but I started this discussion out of curiosity and wants to understand more about it. I already know about the basic and early history, I just wanna know about the differences between each as I state between Orthodox, Catholic, Protestant and any. Are there any differences in term of belief or things you do or practise or something like that? Hope you guys can answer me, and hoped that discussion will broaden our knowledge. ;)

| |  well, as far as i know, orthodox and roman catholic and protestants are all christians... but then, i believe that even if these religion are different in some beliefs... they are all aiming to the betterment of the human race,, even islam is for the god of everybody,, its not bout religion at all, its bout the person..

| |  I want to know it too. Are there any differences in their belief ? And are they still using the same bible or is there any new revision on their bible ? Because sometime I'm getting confused with the Christian and their belief.

| |  The Greek Orthodox Church separated from the church in the New Testament about 300 years after the death and resurrection of Christ.
The Roman Catholic Church was fully developed into such a group in the year 606. It deviated from the New Testament church by introducing some doctrines and infant baptism, etc.
The Protestants protested against the Roman Catholic Church as they saw that the Roman Catholic Church did not and does not follow the Holy Bible.
All these three groups have their own doctrines or teachings different from the Holy Bible.
The Christian religion follows the Holy Bible.

| |  SirPyan there are more than 200 version of the bible and there are more and more,I made a research about that along ago and each one says this is the correct one, second thing not all what in the bible is the talks of JESUS CHRIST peace be upon him but you find , BOTROS' and YOHANNA's and so many others and you must know that each church has its edited version and they diffrenctiat even in numbering verses and PSlAMs , I can give you more details about that just send me a msg and I'll bring you unlimited lines about that

Both the Bible and Koran are written in chronological order.
Jesus said the kingdom is "at hand" meaning, close by. Meaning right in the Bible for those who want to know the truth.
