4. sweetgirl_k1 (3142) | 3 years ago | Oh yes that has happened to me before. I cannot stand it when people sit behind me and kick my chair. It is so annoying. If they do that to my seat then I turn around and ask them to stop and they usually do but if they don't then I just get up and move a few seats down if there isn't anyone there.

5. wmg2006 (4120) | 3 years ago | Yes this happened to me almost everytime I went. So, I would sit with my back against the wall. I got tired of doing this and decided to try again. This time it was worse, some big guy would get up and use the back of my chair to go down his aisle and would almost tip me over backwards! Now I always sit with 4 or 5 friends, none of them ever had these problems. I was getting a complex. So I stopped going at all for a long time, like 2 years.
Then I had a friend beg me and they said if I went and anything like that happened they would never ask again.
Well guess what? It happened right off the bat some idiot decided to put his foot at the back of my head, I was LIVID to say the least. I politely stood up while the movie is on and very slowly turned around and just stared at him. He acted like he had no idea what the deal was, and had the nerve to tell me he could not see could I please sit down. I told him no I couldn't because it looked as though he needed my seat and his too so I guess I needed to stand. He got very angry and verbal! Rather than make a bigger scene than was already going on I left that aisle and I politely went to the row behind him and got lucky, the seat behind him was empty, I sat down and ever so lightly kinda bumped his chair, then waited and about every 10 minutes I did a bump on his chair or pulled it back while getting up. I made his movie adventure very unpleasant to say the least.
Now we have a new theatre with stadium seating and no one can bump your seats, I go some times but not often. I just do not like the theater atmosphere.

6. claudia413 (2540) | 3 years ago | That kid ought to have his mouth washed out with soap, but I hear that's child abuse today. I would have reported him to the management and maybe they would have made him leave the theater. That's one of the many reasons we no longer go to a theater...rude people and other aggravations...to say nothing of the cost of popcorn and a soda. It's so much more enjoyable watching a movie at home, and it certainly costs a lot less. We can also pause a movie when we need to take a break.
