returning something

Generally, the only time I do this now is if I buy a product and try to use it, and it doesn't do what it's supposed to do.

However, when I was young, I used to do this with tapes and CDs back when stores would take them back...Mostly with tapes though...I'd buy the tape, dub myself a copy, and then return it and either get the cash or another case. I quit doing that when I was fourteen though.

Yes of course. It is our right and privilege as a consumer. No return and no exchange policy is against the law to protect the right of the consumer.

i did. It was a rock CD full of demonic music in it. Well the lady at the store suggested it so i bought it. But when i got home and played it, its nothing but hellish trash which only consist of people screaming not singing, and they're songs doesnt make sense.. So i decided to return it to the store. When i told them i didnt like it and want a refund, the acne-afflicted f*ck who was trying to "help" me, said i should have listened to it first before slapping my dough on the counter. I told them they didnt have a sample copy and they said i should have requested one.

Well, i didnt get a refund. So now i make sure that what im going to buy is really what i want.
