which do you prefer? curtains or blinds?

I like blinds because they give you more privacy than curtains and are rather inexpensive. Drapes will give your privacy too, but are rather expensive, but sometimes help you maintain the temperature of your house in different seasons. Drapes help with cutting out outside noise, sometimes. Also, if you move into a rented house with blinds you normally don't have to worry about buying additional curtains or drapes unless you really want to add them.

i prefer curtains since it got many styles, colors, sizes and easy to wash.=p

I like curtains, as they help as sound absorbers and also permit good air ventilation which is not the case with blinds.

I want to buy curtains to my home. I have a similar discussion about curtains, and one of my friend said that the vertical blinder are more modern than the curtains, and those are cool.
So, now I feel a little embarrased. I do not know what kind of blinder is cool. Or how should I decide. I think the curtains are more friendly, than the blinder.
In the office we have curtains too, but just because it is a poor company:)
