They do come at a price, but they also have a budget range which are quite nice actually for around £400, not sure what that would work out as in Euro's.

As ar as i know 1 pound is 1,50 euro so that´s then 675 € for a Gretsch that´s not bad that would be 65% of what i earned at my last job, good price. I payed 990€ for my Fender 50´s player Strat.

Don't forget though, that's the budget range, a Setzer sig for example costs £1911.00

Yes i thought so, i looked up the prices that´s hell a lot of money i couldn´t afford one of these. I remember the last time i looked up fender strat prices and saw the money they wanted for these guitars that looked as they are from 50´s or 60´ with damage on lack and more. Why would someone buy such a guitar for that amount of money (2000€) that´s some kind of fake in my eyes.

Yeah.. but what i mean is that the Fender guitars that are made to look like old ones but are brand new, it´s some kind of guitar cosmetic in my view, well may be yo got me wrong on my english writing Jay ...lol

Oh you mean the Relics? Well funny you should say that, because you may not be aware, but Fender are actually in control of Gretsch now, they build & distribute them world wide.

They've just announced a limited edition Brian Setzer Relic which is done to look old, the same way you describe. & they're already sold out :O

Yes exactly the Relics, i just couldn´t get the word in my mind.. lol.. i didn´t know that with Fender & Gretsch that´s really new to me. I hade a look on the guitar looks very beautiful gave you (+)

I read up on the history page that it all began with Fredrich Gretsch, a german... i didn´t know that fact, man i´m i german, ohh i´m bad.. lol
really nice guitars or to say beautys, i have to try one out next time i´m in the guitar shop, never played on one.

Oh yes, you have to experience the Great Gretsch Sound. I was sold on them when I first played one, they feel big in your lap but just cry out to Rock :)

Jay. Sure i know about that style in music but with hearing your ponts of view on it, it really opend my mind much more for it.

Both are really fine beautiful guitars yeah.. i would like to have one of them. I also went on Setzer´s website and had a look on the photos, great site. There were some mp3 files to listen, next CD will be one from Setzer that´s sure.
