wuthering heights

Wuthering Heights is a book I really loved reading. Yes, you are right that the hero is capable of moving us beyond the conventional view on love.

I luv this NOVEL. I read it wen I was in XII. I have d same with me even today. Its d best. really I like all d characters espc Heathcliff, d HERO. Although Cathy is bit confused bout herself but she manages well. I like that part most wen she is going to die, suffering from illness i.e. in II part. After Heathcliff returns . Really Bronte has done a gr8 job.

The author's hidden argument within the plot, is not just the love theres is between the couples, but she emphasise the uncanny and drwas the reader to think about the love and ghostly manner that is present throughout the story. It occurs vividly and scares the reader that such love is haunted by the dead!

There are many dialogues in this novel which are unique but one is really clung to my mind... when Cathy speaks her mind about love "I love the ground his feet and air above his head, and every thing he touches and every word he speaks"....I hope I have not misquoted anything from my memory.
