What do like about the movie most??

Where to start. There is so many good lines. "Round up the ususal suspects", "I came to Casablanca for the waters .. We're in the desert. I was misinformed." and "Here's looking at you kid" But my favorite scene, besides Bogart's and Ingrid's last, is when the Germans are singing and the crowd overpower them with the French national anthem. It just gets to me. Remember when they filmed Casablanca, it was 1941. The U.S. wasn't in the war yet.No one knew how the war would end and here is what happened. There were more people against the nazis .It's like what Ingrid's husband said,"There will be someone else".

I love this movie for so many reasons! First, the theme is classic- everyone has that "one that got away." It has drama, suspense, intrique. There is so much going on all of the time! The witty one liners that are classic and timeless and still funny after all these years, and the music is great too! It's just a great movie all around!

I love the songs, the sayings. I liked Peter Lorre's role in the movie. he was a slimy fella but somehow you couldn't help but like him for the part he played in those transit papers. Nick's role, aww, I loved him. Humphrey Bogart playing Nick Blaine, it don't get better than that. Dooley Wilson singing "Knock on Wood" and "As Time Goes By" the scene at the end, although Nick swore he wasn't noble, but what he did was noble. What I couldn't understand was why say he was leaving unless it was a plan from the beginning?

I learn this movie first from its song called "Casablanca", i love the lyrics. later i watched the movie, hard to describe, all the plots are arranged so naturally though a plain movie unlike action movies or adventures. The success lies on the wonderful performance that catch the audiences' heart.
