For the Hill Haters,alternatives? For Hill supporters premises for conclusion?  

For Haters of Hillary Roddam-Clinton for PODUS & Supporters of her canidacy and possible Presidential election also. Please state the premises upon which you are basing your position. Hate her or love her. Why do you think that she would/wouldn't be a viable Presidential candidate? And your political affiliation if a registered voter. If you're not a reg. voter, your general party biases and why don't you vote? For the responders to this discussion from abroad your native country, current country of residence (if different), and system of government under which your nation administrates national policy and power.

Now I know most people are not this specific in their topical request. Most myLoteers just want responses regardless of the type or it's contribution to the discussion. Since I am not all that fond of the Clinton administration nor the way that the Lewenski matter was outed, washed in public, and resolved in the four ring circus of the national and world media and over coffee tables and back fences. And I know that this is an unheard of position for a female to take on that but here it goes.
Monica Lewinsky matter: My opinion is that though Pres. Clinton may have been wrong on multiple fronts for his affair with the White House intern (abuse of power, sexual harrassment, defamation of charachter and political hatchet politics to first hush her up, then to discredit her information, then to paint her with the guilty colors and shift focus and blame in the minds of America to her as a harlot, rather than himself as a stupid a$$ that lacks the requisite amount of brain power it takes to a keep it zipped up, not at home(especially not that home!), and in the case of discovery not choosing a more attractive paramour.) I see absolutely nothing in that situation that has DIDDLY to do with his ability to either lead our nation, his effectiveness in the position of PODUS, or why everyone let him "smokescreen" the American nay world populace with the over publicised "affair" and divert media and national attention from whatever he was doing behind our backs politically during the Lewinsky "scandal". Let's be real there are a plethora of avenues that could have been explored before the media set up the "big top" on the foot of Bill and Hill's bed. There are also literally 1000's of major and minor decisions and amendments to strategies and policies that require the attention of The Big Guy which I will guarantee you he did not neglect while media and national attention where focused on his personal affairs and eclipsed over a year of his political machinations.
I would be more interested to know why people are basing their unwillingness to even "hear Hill out" on her campaign platforms, ideas, and aspirations for the presidency due to the behavior of her husband during his term. HELLO! She was the victim of maritial infidelity! Not the perpetrator. What she went through was the 180 degree difference between a private humiliation ,which spouses undergo when an affair is outed, and what Hillary was afforded in terms of the emotional space and privacy that a woman needs to; weigh her options, her feelings, her marriages viability, and her alternatives. We stuck her in the spotlight stripped naked emotionally and spiritually while we allowed the media to pelt her with rotten allegations, ambush tactics for candid responses to the new developements of the whole scandal, and no privacy or compassion for her and the human/personal tragedy that she was enduring. People seem to villify her because she was woman enough to stand beside her man and say to the world. "He is both my man and my president and I may not always agree with the job he's doing at either at any one given time but I am going to stand beside his right to be "just a man."

People seem to want to tar and feather her for loving her husband and having the maturity and intellect to not throw the 'baby out with the bathwater" with her marriage and her partner. Mind you that was one ugly baby that the media midwifed and her husband sired and any woman would have understood her defecting and abandoning Bill to his fate, and her role as 1st Wife and seeking seclusion and a divorce attorney. Yes her marriage had a huge very public flaw in it, yes she managed to publicly "forgive and forget" although privately she may or may not feel like being charitable to Billy boy.

I think that she showed the kind of grace under fire, coolheaded damage control and management of a media circus and an invasion of the most private and sensitive of areas in her life, and the kind of compassion and willingness to work on a situation rather than abandon a position that I would very much love to see sitting in the Oval Office tomorrow.
I give Hill my support and my empathy 91%. I am not whole heartedly behind her platform planks, nor some of her political views, but what president have we ever been in 100% agreement with.

Elect Hill for president. What better person than a woman who interned 24/7/365 for not one but two presidential terms and knows the inside of the position intimately?
