What is your favourite band (or solo artist) at the moment?  

Favourite group is The Red Army Choir, favourite soloists, a tossup between Ivo Robic, and Vladimir Vysotsky.

I have two bands at the moment, headed by the same lead singer here in Australia, The Warren Keats Band and The Muster...both with lead singer Warren Keats..

Regina Spektor and Nerina Pallot. I love them!

I stopped buying new discs in 1992 when I stopped working .. so my selection at home is somewhat dated .. but when I listen to the radio I am happy to listen to pretty much all of the current music .. I'm hopeless at remembering names so I've no idea who I listen to .. as long as I can tap my fingers or toes and hum along a bit I'm happy ..

I am really into Therion at the moment, they are a symphonic progressive death metal piece that have been around for a long, but a very long time. I think everyone should check them out, here's some info:

Therion is a Swedish symphonic metal band. It takes its name from the Greek word therion (??????), which means beast, in reference to the "beast" of the Christian Book of Revelation. However, the band's name itself originates from the Celtic Frost album To Mega Therion. Therion was founded by Christofer Johnsson in 1987. Beginning as a death metal band, they later turned to combining orchestral elements with their metal music, employing heavy use of choirs and classical musicians, not only as additions to but also as integral parts of the composition.

Therion's music takes its themes from different mythologies and is based on concepts ranging from occultism, magic and ancient traditions and writings. The majority of their lyrics are written by Thomas Karlsson, head and founder of the magical order Dragon Rouge, of which Johnsson is a member. The band has seen many changes in line-up and style throughout its history.

My favourite artist is Sam The Kid a portuguese rapper with an great talent, who put in the market is 4th album Pratica(Mente), a master piece of rap music.

As long as it's from the 80s! That's mostly the music I play and listen to. In my car I have currently got The Pretenders album. My all time favourite solo artist has to be Madonna, I've got most if not all of her albums, she's quite a girl, done so much for the popworld and for her fans. I constantly change my Ipod for the gym so I have different music to do my 5km run to each day. Last group I had on my Ipod was The Beautiful South.
