Are you a scrapbooking addict when it comes to your kids?

I wasn't sure wether to post this under parenting or hobbies, but since I don't scrapbook for myself I thought I would put it here. My husband says I obsess over the scrapbooking. I take pictures of every outting we go to, and I keep all the little momentos that I can. I kept the little wrist bands that were on my son when he was born. My husband says that since he is a boy, that he probably won't be that interested in the stuff I have saved when he gets older. But I do not have any of the baby stuff from when I was child. I also think if something would happen to one of us, then he will have memories to go back and look at. One of the reasons I started here on Mylot was to earn a little money for my paypal so I could get scrapbooking stuff on ebay. My husband just rolled his eyes on that one. My husband says I'm addicted to scrapbooking, but I tell him there are worse things to be addicted to. Are there any others out there into scrapbooking for their children? Do you carry a camera everywhere with you just in case something exciting happens?

I do a lot of scrapbooking as well. i dont think that i am quiet as bad for it as you are. lol i seem to run out of ideas often and it takes me a few days or weeks to get back into it again. but i always go abck to it. i really enjoy it and i think my daughter will enjoy it someday too. Even if your son wont enjoy it someday, i bet whomever he decides to marry will love to see all the picture and stuff when it is her turn to have babies. Keep it up! and if you have an creative ideas or websites for ideas please send them over to me :)

I was thinking about when his girlfriend comes over and embarrassing him when I show her his bath time pic's or when he is getting a diaper changed. LOL

I am not into scrapbooking as such but I love looking at all the scrapbooking things in the shops and I have bought a few things to make cards so I guess it is in the same family...sort of...

I haven't gotten into making the cards yet. But I spend more time looking at scrapbooking stuff then I do looking at clothes. In my opinion they are closely related, you use the same supply on alot of them.
