| | | 2. jado30 (2) | 3 years ago |  I went to school in the Charleston area and liked it so much I decided to stay...it has been 11yrs in all that I have lived here. If you want to visit you need to ask yourself is it for the beach, golf, history, or something else b/c it has all of that and much more.
You would also want to check the time of year you would visit, b/c it can get really hot and humid during the summer. I hope this has helped

It is a very pretty place.The people in the area,for the most part, are very nice.As another person stated, it can be very hot and humid there.So,if you are not use to that, take it into consideration on timing a visit.I do want to go back for a visit.
