| Does anyone have a cute or funny Valentine's Day story?  | | | |  My story is a bit embarassing. I was in charge of a church "couples" Valentine's Day party. I planned some cute games including a "Newlywed" game. The actual party fell on the Saturday AFTER Valentine's Day so I went shopping to pick up the prizes for the games and found some great after Valentines' Day specials. I got several of the heart-shaped boxes of chocolates. I was so proud of myself for getting such a great deal. Well, when it came time to award the prizes for the games, each couple opened their heart-shaped box to find a big gooey glob of melted chocolates! Obviously melted and old! I was mortified but laughed it off! What's your story? I give lots of +'s!

| |  My husband proposed on Valentine Day 2002. First he took me out to a nice dinner. I knew he had bought the ring. No ring at dinner. No ring in my drink or dessert. We went back to his house and watched TV. Being the romantic that he is (YA RIGHT)...he proposed during the commercial break in Everybody Love's Raymond. His exact words were, "I guess I should give this to you now, huh?" Then he hands me the whole bag from the jewelers with the boxed ring inside. Romantic just cannot adequately describe my husband, see?
