wondering if anyone has or knows of a resource that could help me with at word study i'm doing. the name Appoquinimink. at my best understanding it's derived from a native american source, however my internet searching has turned up very little so far. save a reference to a school district and waterway in Delaware.

i don't know how to make the question any simpler. i am seeking the translation of the word - Appoquinimink. whether it be history, confirmation of it's derivation, or whatever. the meaning of a word can take you to places unknown, therefore, i'm looking to see what there is to learn within the name - Appoquinimink.
