Yes, it was great! I think it would be physically impossible to make something like that, but I also think that making tons of steel flying at thousands feet of height had been considered physically impossible many years ago.

Its a great idea and I'm sure sometime in the future it would be possible, just not yet. You would have to think about what powers it, like a strong magnet force between it and the floor.

Anyways, my understanding of the easiest way to make a functioning hoverboard is by utilizing extremely powerful magnets on the underside of the board.
You know how if you get two magnets and try and push them together the positive and negative forces "repel" each other?
Well the Earth gives off a magnetic field, so by using magnets which "repel" this field, it would actually cause the board to hover.
That's my extremely basic understanding of it anyways.
