Longest Friendship

My best friend and I have been friend for over 20 years. We were childhood playmates, best friends in high school, and as adults we are still the best of friends. Her mom and my mom used to joke about signing adoption papers to eachother... we were always together... Now our husbands tease us when we are in a bad mood that we must be having "best friend withdraws," and we are ordered to spend time together... What about you? What is the length of your longest friendship, and are you still friends today?
