Jobs - Sexist? Racist? Etc.

Trying to get a job anymore in certain areas are tough. They tell you: We will call, the positions been filled, Your over qualified, and whatever other reasons they can think of that doesnt show that they are being sexist or racist.

Now there are some places that will tell you straight out why they didnt hire you, wether its hair length, dirtyness, or your just not professional enough.

So why is it a "female"(With long hair), can get a job somewhere, where as a "male"(with long hair), Can not get that same job?

Why cant a male be a secratary? There are some males that have more computer skills and typing skills then "some" females. So why cant that male get that same job?

Is it because we dont wear skirts? Have breasts?

Why cant a male have long hair, look 100% professional, dress nice.. And still not get a job - because he has long hair.

Why are so many places so sexist about men having long hair?

Thats almost like saying: I open a new business - Its boomin like crazy - I need workers - I get about 10 people that put in applications.

Of those 10 people:

4 have short hair - Look nice - Look professional
3 have Long hair - Look nice - Look professional
3 have tattoo's(visible) - Long hair - look nice - Look professional

Lets just say I need 5 people - well im going to hire the ones with the tattoos and long hair, and not hire the ones with short hair.

Are you a male with long hair? That has been turned down at a job(of anykind) just for that reason?

Are you a female with great skills, great looking, but got turned down at a job(of anykind) because you didnt wear a skirt?

Whats your opinion on Jobs today in who they hire and who they don't, because of stupid reasons like that?
