Have you ever ordered something on ebay and not told your hubby? |

| My hubby who loves to gamble does not like me buying porcelain dolls. I have collected about 10 Franklin Mint and Rusti dolls over the years and I am disabled and they give me joy to look at. My husband got really mad when I ordered one about 6 months ago and we had a disagreement over this. I feel he tosses money away while I at least have something to show for it and that I enjoy. Needless to say I bought another one and it will be arriving today, so wish me good luck! | | | | | |

| | The problem that I have is that I have been collecting Porcelain dolls before I met him and he only started gambeling the past few years. When he met me he knew I liked to collect dolls and didn't say much about my collection so I did not think he minded. He was not as much a penny pincher when we first married but he is getting worse over the past few years but then he is turning 63 and I am only 47 and this could be why he has this craving for more money. I would talk to him about it but he would not listen. The funny thing is I have two beautiful new Rusti dolls upstairs with my other dolls and he has seen them and did not say anything. My guess is that he does not know one doll from another or he just figures I am going to get them anyway. Thank you for sharing with me and I am glad you have a hubby who understands and works things out with you. | | | |

| | Only time I ever ordered something from ebay and not tell my husband was a picture of his favorite football player. It took some doing so he didn't find out. It was suppose to be a Christmas present. I was going to get it and hide it til Christmas. Unfortuantely, Something happened and we had to leave before it arrived. So when we got back he found it. It wasn't fun trying to get the picture. There was somebody else on ebay that was trying also to get everything with this guy on it. I had to email him to say hey, let me have something. But he was very happy to see it. You and your husband needs to sit down and really talk. You need to let him know his gambling is getting on your nerves and he needs to do the same with your doll buying. I don't gamble or bet, the fear of losing money is to great. And if your very unlucky, it's even worse. So really talk to him about it. Maybe you two can see it both ways. | | | | | | |

| | Thank you for the response and if I could I would sit down and talk to him about it but he is 63 and very pig-headed and I do not see him changing anytime soon! | | | |
