DR is too good of an actor to get trapped in roles like Leonardo DiCaprio. LD is just now getting roles, and good ones, that match his maturity. Best of luck to DR.

It is obvious, he is no longer the little boy from Harry Potter. In fact, Harry Potter is no longer a little boy as we knew him in the first books. I think he will do fine in the play and will continue to do wonderfully in the HP movies series. I just hope society will give him a chance to do his thing....and make mistakes as well as continued successes! | |

Young children have no business seeing a play like Equus, with its adult subject matter. So if they are seeing it, and getting "the wrong idea" that is on their parents, not on Daniel.

He has to be able to move on to more adult roles, either on stage or screen. Equus is an adult drama, and it's not something that his HP audience of children should be seeing, so one should not impact the other, in my opinion.
