 I used to watched these cartoon programs when I was a little girl, with my siblings. Sesame street, where I learned a lot of English terms and helped me to count numbers in fun. I like Bert and Ernie, and Cookiemonster too. We also enjoy Popeye very much, even when I have the chance to watch it nowadays I take the time. I think Popeye will be my all-time favourite.

But ever since I heard Dave Chapelle talking about how he sees Sesame Street as an adult, the whole thing has a new meaning and honestly it makes me laugh even harder!!! If you can find it, you probably can downloaded from the internet. It is one of the funniest things I've ever heard, because he questions what kind of cookies the cookiemonster was eating that got him SO ADDICTIED!
Popeye was not exactly one of my favorites, but I've watched many many times, even now with my nephews when I go visit them.

I mean, children and parents just thought of it as educational and healthy program, so why do somebody have to destroy its reputation. As always, we can't blame our children if we stripped them early of their innocence. | |
