Do you still use computer speakers or do u use stereo or surround for your PC?  

if you wanna buy good ones... then go for Altec Lansing.... coz even the cheap models sound really good.... or else if ya' dont wanna buy a new one nd save money.... i recommend you to get your stereo speakers in your house.... coz even the normal ones sound so good.... you can use it as well as for hearing songs

i too do that if my stereo doesnt work properly.... i just take one my headphones nd use them.... but the only problem with my headphones is it creates a pain if i wear it for so much amount of time.... how bout u?

cool man.... nyways i have an m-audio audiophile 2496.... i know its old but i just play the drums and record it wit that coz thats enuf for my recordings ... i use many plugins but sometimes i record the drums with the midi keyboard.... its always better if i record it live with the metro on in ma' headphones... im tryna get one tama too....

have heard about m-audio a lot. never used it though.. doesn`t matter how old it is as long as it satisfy ur needs.

Midi can never sound as good as an authentic sound,in my humble opinion, no matter what sound banks u use. But when recording live is such a hassle, i guess it makes more sense to go midi.

yup nd the other sould make your to be 3.... coz you typr a lot too nd also good onez... k anywayz back to the topic..... i usually use live ... coz somehow i manage some shure mic's on each of the kit's equipment.... sometimes its better to use the midi pad with which you can take all the touch responses nd also the sound to a vst which actually gives 1270 different sounds for a single kit... its with ezdrummer... sometimes its very easy to use it... so i feel much comfortable to use that...

Best to stick with what you are comfortable with.
Tried Fruity Loops? or Acid?
Heard they're good for drums programming.

fruity loops is one of the best for drum programming only because its user friendly... just now they released version 7.... i wuz using the XXL edition and before that version 6... but i think sony acid is crap.... i've never used acid, but in ma' studio they said its crap...

what kind of earphones do u use for recording purposes... i used a very old Philips headphones.... now im gonna change it to some other.... do u know any good ones .... cost doesnt matter...
