Jazz Fest!

I love Jazz Fest! It can be more fun than Mardi Gras in a more controlled way, but there are things I like better about Mardi Gras. The things I like better about Jazz Fest are the better tourists, the lack of littering and fewer drunken people, the weather!
THE FOOD!!!!! New Orleans is all about the food, and Jazz Fest is no different.

I am from New Orleans and I can tell you that you will have a great time at Jazz Fest. Mardi Gras is a completely different story; different atmosphere. I think that Jazz Fest is less intimidating than Mardi Gras and less crowded. The only issue I have ever had with Jazz Fest is when it rains and it becomes a little reminiscent of Woodstock with all of the mud. Look for my friend, American Jeff, he will have American flag pants on...try his concoction in his cup if you dare.

I've spent my entire life in New Orleans until I moved six months ago. I went to Jazz Fest last year and it was awesome. I saw Bruce Springsteen singing "City of Ruins" and it was extremely touching. The food was fabulous (as usual). I hope it doesn't rain and get too slushy at the Fair Grounds. Have fun!!

i am sory to say i have never been to jazz fest. i want to go so bad but every year something allways stops me from going, so i have to listen to my friends storys when they come back. i do try to go to mardi gras tho every chance i get. cant say if its beter or not, yet. i might make it this yera tho.
