How big is your house or apartment?  |

 I live in a small three room apartment by myself and my three ferrets. When you walk in the front door I have a small hallway, I have a large eat in kitchen with a small galley area off it, a medium size bedroom and a large living room. Sometimes when people come in for the first time they say it's small. They don't realize that it's just me so I don't need a lot of room. I have 2 closets and a closet in the kitchen with shelves in it where I keep sheet, towels and laundry products. Under the kitchen sink I keep my cleaning products and over it is my cabinet for dishes, cups and glasses. There is also a cabinet over the stove where I keep food. I have a good size microwave cart with doors under it for my pots and pans. My living room has a couch, chair, entertainment center, desk with my pc and a lot of junk, printer stand and 3 drawer file cabinet. That's not even counting a large 3 story ferret cage and a smaller one for my ill ferret.
My bathroom is a good size with a tub and shower and sink with vanity. The laundry room with washers and dryers is in the basement and has 3 of each, 2 sinks and 2 tables for folding clothes. How much room does one person need?

The basement has been converted into a one bedroom apartment for her but she never has enough room for everything. She is always saying she needs more space and she's right. I wish we could afford to make our decks into sunrooms as this would give her the extra space she needs. Hopefully someday it will happen.

You walk into a foyer, on this floor there is the foyer, hallway to garage, full bath, and 2 bedrooms,and a large deck out the bedroom, up a small flight of stairs you'll find the living room dinning room, kitchen and a powder room. Up another flight of stairs is the master bedroom and bath.
Now this is much to big for 2 people, but we love it.

| 6. blueskies (848) | 3 years ago |  We live in a 3 bedroom, 2 bath house that is approximately 1300 square feet. We have a tiny yard and a narrow driveway that will only hold one car (squeezed!). In our home lives myself, my husband, and my two children, ages 12 and 15. We also have 2 dogs, 4 cats and a hamster. We have a living room, dining room, bathrom, kitchen, sun porch, covered back porch, and a covered front porch downstairs. Upstairs, we have a large landing, 3 bedrooms, and a small bathroom.We find it to be just enough space for us all. We've lived in larger homes before, but the extra space just seems to be wasted. We don't have much use for extra rooms and really large rooms, that's just more space to heat in the wintertime.
