Political relatives?

Thomas Matlock, a well to do brewer from Haddonfield, New Jersey --- his neat handwriting is the one on the Declaration of Independence that Thomas Jefferson had to dictate to him. Matlock also edited it. Remember how sloppy Jefferson's handwriting is (he had severe arthritis)? You know he didnt write it! This is no tall tale, it is in the history books. He is my mother's great, great, great uncle. Her mother (my grandmother) was a Matlock and my mother grew up there and graduated from Haddonfield High School.
