WHo of you out ther thinks that "HARLEYS RULE"?  

Wow this has been up for 2 months. I am not really into bikes. But not a single person into Harley Davidson motorcycles is very strange.

Where are you HD fans?

Harley-Davidson motorcycles (popularly known as "Harleys") are distinctive in both design and sound. Harley-Davidson motorcycles attract a loyal following. They don't sell them
in India. Here Hero Honda is popular bike.

Harley is THE bike! Hubby has three.. two 64's, one original, one chopped he put together from the pieces of it in cardboard boxes (his first bike of the three / had a BSA before then when he was 18..) and his third is the 2003 Harley anniversary issue bike.. which is the one we ride most now, especially as it is electric start and his knees are bad.. I wouldn't mind riding my own, but it would have to be a bit smaller and shorter..

I spent most of last summer on the back of Harleys and there's nothing like them! Those stupid Yamaha "trikes" are stupid and anything but a Harley isn't worth a mans salt. Nothing like a Gold Wing to make my day!

These days it generally seems that it is the older ones who are riding the Harleys ... at least here in Australia. There are a number of clubs for these people and they travel far and wide on their Harleys ... some are retired and use them to get around the country. Met up with a group of about 30 "bikies" and all of them riding Harleys .... this was when I was at a truck stop a couple of months ago ... all aged 60+ and having the time of their life. Some spent an absolute fortune on their bikes ... and had everything they could want in their packs. Some husband and wife teams ... both on their own Harley and off they went with a final farewell wave to everyone.

Mentioned the fact to my partner ... she thought it was a great idea ... but refused to sell her car to get one .... maybe one day when the farmlet is paid off we will look at it. that will be a while down the track but yes they are a good bike and no longer connected to the young and wild ... as they were not so many years ago.
