I hate our new librarian!!!!  |

 This morning, I was reading a daily newspaper in our library, my concentration to my reading was distracted by our librarian who scolded some students who were talking among themselves on the opposite table. I'm not against our librarian's way of doing her job. It's just that she herself had done worse than those students who were talking among themselves. I mean, the students are only talking among themselves and they don't create a really big noise which disrupts other students reading. Instead, the noise only got bigger when the librarian scolded them and gave out a very long sermon on library policies and it really disturbed a lot of students who are reading. I just wish she would learn how to approach students in a manner as to not disturb those who have nothing to do with the case.

2.  Vacant (2322) | 3 years ago |  It is very common that the person who is tryig to give a solution just creates a bigger problem. Sometimes my daughter starts talking about something when her dad is watching tv.. and he yells at her because he can't hear.. Well, it seems to me that to whisper, just a second honey, I want to hear this, would be far more effective than screaming at her, which only gets her upset, which also equls noisy.. not only that, someone might be able to hear what he missed and tell him. The way he does it no on e hears anything.
I think the librarian souds rather unprofessional. SHe needs to be lead by example, if she had gone and sat with them and quietly requested that they keep it down, she would have gained two things.. silence and the respect of the students.

you right because the noise she is doing is disterbing the other students and she should do it more quietly.
But on the other hand in library there is suppose to be quiet for those who read and do homework or somting so u can realy blame her for what she did! | |

This is to avoid hurting other people and correcting them in the right manner at the same time. I think that librarian should know how to control her temper. Saying those bad words might not help in solving the situation but will only worsen it.
