What Do You Think About Hybrid Cars?  |

|  We own a Honda Civic Hybrid that apparently has just been recalled. Here is the news article:

Do you drive a Hybrid car? Would you consider buying one? We bought ours to conserve energy and lower our gas costs.

| |  Wow. That's too bad about your car being recalled. I don't have a hybrid, but I'm looking to purchase a new car in about 2-3 years and I have contemplated getting a hybrid. My husband does a lot of commuting so it may be an economical choice. Do you find your hybrid does well in snow? We usually get a few inches of snow on a fairly regular basis here throughout the winter.

| | It's been fine so far in Boston, we've had a few icy days. I have a Nissan, and they just started making a Nissan Altima hybrid so I'm checking one of those out just for fun. The great thing is how much less often you have to buy gas. | | | |

| |  I think Hybrid cars are a step in the right direction. I don't owe one but I'm really considering that choice for my next car.
Because hybrids are kind of new if we compare , I"m sure there will be many "bugs" to fix, many recalls , but it's still worth considering.
