When you find out something you bought was recalled do you take it back?

Every day you hear on tv of a new item being recalled the last one I heard was The Easy Bake Oven the hole was to small and children were getting their hands stuck in it and geting burned. When you hear something you bought has been recalled do you take it back, throw it away or do you keep on using it? It always depended on what it was for me now some things were recalled becasue little pieces could come off and they were a choking hazard, my daughter never put anything in her mouth so I didn't worry about things like that if something like her car seat was recalled I would be at the store within minutes to return becasue that is her life we are dealing with also I have had vehicles recalled and always take them in to have them fixed for my familes safety.
