Who are you???  | |  The Who are an English rock band that first came to prominence in the 1960s. They grew to be considered one of the greatest[1] and most influential[2] rock bands of all time, in addition to being "possibly the greatest live band ever."[3]
The group originally had four members, but drummer Keith Moon died in 1978 and bassist John Entwistle in 2002. The two remaining members, guitarist/vocalist/songwriter Pete Townshend and vocalist Roger Daltrey, continue to perform as The Who. Their most recent studio album, Endless Wire, was released in 2006.
The Who are #8 on VH1's 100 Greatest Artists of Hard Rock, #9 on VH1's 100 Greatest Artists of Rock 'n' Roll and the #8 artist of all time on acclaimedmusic.net.
