Helmets on motorcycles  

I think is similar to the seatbelt discussion going on here. The laws are put in place in order to protect the riders. With that said however, I know some doctors who say that they sometimes wish the people brought in after motorcycle accidents weren't wearing helmets because of all the other injuries they sustained. Harsh, but I can see where they're coming from.

Throughout the world, the trend now is to require everyone taking the motorcycle to wear helmets. This is so because a lot are now using motorbikes for a less expensive and hassle free ride.

This fact has led to a lot of accidents happening to motorcycle riders. It has been proven time and again, that those who had their helmets on when the accidents happen, have better chances of survival.

My gut reaction is sure, pass it and so I can survive a crash with a way broken body and still be able to complain about it. Just seems like if we wanted to be human missles it should be our choice.

Just wait they will make you wear knee pads and wrist guards and elbow protectors next. Riding can be dangerous and it is shame that we just can't be respondibile for our ownselves.
