how to make a rope hammock

I already have a hammock the middle is nylon but the cotton ropes supporting it are starting to rot . I
thought iI could re do the top and bottom but I am not sure how to weave the center of the ropes where they all come together

Hi,
You might want to try books on macrame knots. My problem is that the hammock stands I bought are too
short for the hammock chairs that I have. I have found several websites with patterns for hammocks using
the macrame knots.
