Anyone Here From Tennessee?

yep,i am from tennessee.i like the best part of it is the mountains.and the grand ole oprey.

I hate I did not see this earlier. I live in South East TN. In a place called Riceville. I am curious to where Milan. I have not heard of it.
I love it here. i have been to several other states and lived in a few, but here is my favorite. It does get cold, but not for long. I also does get hot, but not as hot as some places I have been.
I love the mountains, and rivers and creeks. I love Gatlinburg, and Pigeon Forge. I love the wild life and the wildflowers. I love my friends I have found here. I just love it.
I do not love my job, but that has nothing to do with the state I live in, only the inconsideration of my employer, and It would be the same in other places as well!

50 miles east of Nashville here:) We've been here about a year now. I'm still kind of mixed about it, but definitely like it better then most of the places I've lived. I originally thought the people were friendly, but I'm seeing a lot of the older women are kinda catty lol. They have that "I'm a Southern Belle" mentality and look down on you if you're not local. We live in a very small town, in a small county (Smith), and everybody here is related to each other-no joke lol. I've lived in several states, and I think this one is probably the best so far, or close to it anyway. I've had a hard time finding a job as well, haven't looked as seriously yet though, but if these next one or two places don't call, I'm going to have to consider a career change pretty quick. And that will suck. And I love the weather here, just moved up from Florida, and it's so nice to see a little snow, not as hot summer, the leaves changing in the fall. It's definitely the most beautiful state I've lived in!!!

I lived in Kingsport,TN for 3 years and I loved it! However, the pay wasn't as good as it is in Indiana so my husband decided that we should move back. The cost of living isn't as high there either so I thought that we should have stayed, but he didn't want to. I hated leaving. I loved the mountains and the weather!
I would go back tomorrow if he would. I have a daughter who would like to go back too. I hope to convince him to go again someday!

i lived in Carthage, i don't know if u know where that is but i liked it when i was there. i am from Canada, while i do love the weather in tenn, i found work there in the field i work not very challenging ( hairdresser ) ilived in Quebec where anything goes in the hair and fashion industry.
