gay bar

I have been to a well known gay bar in the city, and yeah those places are funny. Well I am not gay and those kind of places are not my favorite for fun, but for once in a while it's funny to go there and have a blast.
People are usually very respectful and you can see gay and heterosexual people sharing the same space without any problem and without weird looks from ones to the others, which is what happens in normal bars.

I have been to many gay bars with friends that I have made working in the HIV field. I love the atmosphere and the drag shows also! It's amazing how all kinds of people go to a gay bar and have fun: gay, straight, trans-gender, and bisexual people all get along and have a great time. I won't say that I've never seen fighting in a gay bar, though. You know how it is whenever people start to drink excessively- there are bound to be arguments and fights no matter what the sexual orientation of the patrons is. Overall, though, it's always a fun night out. The dancing cannot be beat!

We live in Gran Canaria which has one of the biggest gay resorts in Europe so we often go to the gay bar's, as you say they are some of the safest bars around. We always have a good night when we go.

I use to go quite a lot, as it was a great night out and if you told someone you were straight they wouldn't try and hit on you again. Why can't straight people understand this?..

I have never been, but would love to go! I have many gay friends and we have just never gone out to a gay bar. I will have to suggest that.:)
