Are you addicted to Tim Horton's Coffee?  

As far as I can tell, Tim Hortons' has only one special ingrediant: A Really Big Advertising Budget. That's it, it's that simple. Ok, yeah, they are largely very big on consistancy between stores, and for the few that don't keep their proverbial socks pulled up, the reputation of the rest carries them on.


Contrary to rumours, there is no nicotine, vanilla or anything else in the coffee or coating the cups.

I personally don't prefer their coffee, but I'll drink it if I ahve no other option.

I definately won't eat their previously frozen donuts though, and it really bothers me that they avertise their donuts as baked fresh daily.. because even if they are baked everyday, they are not baked at the store.

At the store they are thawed and heated up in an oven.. Not fresh, as far as I am concerned.

I didn't know they were doing that until one day I stopped and got the kids some TimBits and they wouldn't eat them.. well, no wonder, they were like rubber balls and have been ever since they started freezing them.

I personally prefer Country Style.. their stuff is SO fresh and the new bistro deli is awesome. You can get veggies on a ciabatta and have it grilled in a panini press! I love veggies!

This is a good question and one that lots of people wonder about. I wonder all the time if there is a special ingredient in that coffee. I'm not a coffee drinker but when I do have coffee I really like Tim Hortons. My taste buds for coffee don't find a real differencde between it and other coffee shop coffee though, but my husband believes differently. He believes nothing compares to Tim's coffee.

I am not addicted to Tim Horton's coffee, rather The Second Cup. For those outside of Canada, The Second Cup is a little more of a cafe atmosphere whereas Tim Horton's is more like a fast-food coffeeshop. I think one is just as good as the other, but in their own way. They are the same (enjoyment) but different (taste, atmosphere etc). It depends on what mood I'm in.

I don't go to Tim's as often BECAUSE of the lineup. I would actually rather go to the Second Cup. There is one just up the street from where I live. I spend a lot of time there.

My sister and a friend of mine are big tim horton's coffee fans.. they always rave about it. We haven't got one in town but there are a couple in the next town over. I've had their coffee and really wasn't impressed. I've also got the cans of their coffee grounds that are sold in the supermarket and found it really bad.

Yes, the coffee is definately fixed with nicotene. I am a faithful coffee drinker at Tim Horton's, every morning , noon and nite. I believe, however that if one wants to quit, they could by replacing it with other natural hearb teas. The problem is that we live a rat race life in Toronto and don't have time to stop and think about the real important things in life.

Im not really addicted to it, I dont normally pass it up if the opportunity arrives, but im not addicted...
I do however know some americans who actually go past starbucks and cross the border on a regular basis for timies coffee lol

I probably used to be since I had 6 Extra Large Double Doubles every day when I worked right beside a Tim's, but I quit when I quit that job. It's been over a year now, and I haven't touched a drop of coffee except in Starbucks frappuccinos and ice capps since.

I do like their steeped tea though.
