Printer/scanner combo recommendations?  email this discussion to a friend?

I'm in the market for a new printer/scanner combo. What do you guys think is a good choice? Basically what I want is something with good quality printing (I don't really give a rat's azs about how many pages per minute it does either, I'd much rather quality over speed), good quality scanning (i.e accurate colour, brightness and contrast), good price (about $150 maybe?) and finally a nice big cartridge size. I'm sick of this HP PSC's tiny little cartridge that only prints out about 25 pages on normal before it craps out. I want a printer that can go the mile and still look good. I've heard that those printers with the separate ink tanks (you know, where the blue, pink and yellow and black colours have their own cartridges) are great for this, plus they look pretty big and I've heard that they're cheap to replace (our HP PSC's colour cartridge is about $60 to replace, those separate tank ones are suppose to be about $14 each colour). Canon and Epson have these tanks right? I've also heard that Canon scanners are some of the best, but how are their printers? So what printer/scanner combo would you guys recommend?
