Will you die for Christ?

I've asked myself that question too, many times.. sometimes I answer with a resounding "YES!" in my mind.. and sometimes I think that when faced with a situation where I would be asked to choose between life or faith.. I don't know. All I can pray for is that when such thing ever happens to me, that I please God with what I do. Even if it means dying. V^_^

To die for a story book is nonsense!

I believe the verse to which you are referring is Phil 1:21 "For me to live is Christ, and to die is gain" This particular verse is not talking about dying FOR Christ, but there are verses which do. My motto is: "So live, that when you come to die, you have nothing left to do, but die" I have known, loved and served the Lord Jesus Christ for 48 of my 70 years and I have known the tremendous joys, blessings and privilege of being used by Him and nurtured by Him and protected by Him and lead by Him for those years. He has been my everything and my loving heavenly Father undertakes for me in every way as I live for Him. He has given me abundant life in this life. I have no regrets. I have no complaints. I thoroughly enjoy my life, just as it is. My eternal security is guaranteed, not because of any good in me, nor because of anything I have done, but ONLY because of what the Lord Jesus has done for me. Whether because of persecution or any other reason, I am ready. For me to live is Christ, and to die is GAIN!
