anime lovers....how did u feel about neon genesis evangelion  

I've seen it years ago but I don't really remember the history. Besides I don't like "mecha" anime series but this one I may want to watch again since everybody I know says that it's GREAT.

I don't like this one... it's terrible!
At the begining I can't complain but from the middle to the end it's terrible... the serie become boring... shinji become more stupid and i don't know what happens with asuka... she was so high-spirited at the begining and than... I don't know u.u and Rai is a clone... bad end
The manga is better!

What I like Eva is that it's deep. There's always something deeper than what is seen, and you have to finish the whole series to actually be able to understand it in its totality. I compare it to a dots of different colors that look so ugly together, but when you stand back, you see the whole picture.

Shinji and Asuka actually have almost the same experience, but they reacted differently. Asuka was loud, and Shinji was the opposite - both reactions are designed to call attentions to themselves. My favorite character, though, is Rei Ayanami.^^

I watched it years back when I was still in high school, and I remember rushing home to watch it, and rushing to school the next day to discuss it with a friend who was equally hooked up with the series. The people there are lonely people - there are amusing moments, but there's still an underlying sadness that makes the humor stark in contrast.

Eva is one of my all-time fave, and if I were to describe it in one word, I'd go amazinglyawesomelycool.

Shinji is my favourite character in Evengelion. He's naive though he's kind hearted. It may seem that he's weak but in times of danger real strength appears and real friends always come to help you out, that Shinji!

Rei is a quite person but very mysterious. Asuka's all talk and very loud.

Well, I have seen a movie that turned this evangelion series into a perverted movie, I really dont like that they disgraced this anime series.

i don't know, but felt kinda weird about this anime. i don't know if in the end, all was just like a dream, everyone was ok like nothing happened. some say the story is good but it's just too complicated. never understood the whole story though.

The first time that I saw Evangelion, I didn't like the mecha designs. But after seeing them in action, it was like...WOW! The story is very deep, with psychological religious, and other things.
