| |  We had no problems allowing our daughter to sleep with us. I breastfed, so it was so much easier to just go back to sleep while she was nursing, and then nestle her safely in the bed with us. She slept in our bed on and off until she was about seven, at which time she switched over to sleeping on our floor if she was feeling scared or needed to be near us. She's twelve now and she's completely independant. She occasionally asks to sleep on our floor after a scary movie, but that's rare anymore. She likes her privacy now.
