World's most IT Industries lands in Chennai - Good or Bad

it is good for chennai and for india. chennai will become a famous city with people rushing from all over the world. the city will develop due to that. we will have better facilities and infrasturcture. what more do you want?

Bad in my view. Already the surroundings of chennai are expanded and the pollution is getting worser every day. If this keeps on going then chennai survives only economically and not eco-friendly.

Chennai is the Most Growing country in the World in the field of IT industry. Because The government gives lot of offers to give the foregin company Investors. They also expect this is the right place to start out businees.

as far as I.T grows chennai is started expanding....thatz gr8...but some how u must watch for the problems like water scarcity, land rates hike, price hikes in many products[now tea( eventhough they give only half glass ) rates are rised to Rs.3 near road sides]

Actually, its a very postive note for India to grow economically due to these I.T industries. In the past two years there has been a lot of change in our life style and its all because of the I.T industry. But there are some negative points because of the I.T industry. As they are rapidly growing, they are in need of more lands and they are ready to pay how much ever the price is. Because of this real estate industry is booming and land price are shooting up high. Also because of the I.T industry our Indian culture is changing resulting in damage to our tradition.

Compared to Bangalore, Chennai is better in terms of Infrastructure. I do admit there are poor roads but roads are quite bigger here. Once the OMR is renovated, it will be truly an IT corridor. This is good in terms of growth of the economy of a state, at the same time I also see a lot of agricultural land are converted to SEZs. The natural heritage of chennai or tamil nadu is its agricultural lands. The cauvery delta area for example. But all these lands are getting converted to plots for IT companies. of course when IT companies comes, there are lot of employment opportunities but at the same time the govt and the people should do something to preserve the culture. There should be a balance..

i donot know about that what i said you becuase the answer of your discussion is depend on the some points,in which both the possobility,some point are advantageous and some are disadvantageous. for ex:- if it industries are come then there is advantage of given employment and and their disadvantage you told on your discussin .

For me, it is good. It will bring great benefits to Chennai as there will be many opportunities for residents or citizens there to get a good career for themselves. It could increase employment rates because there will be many projects in the country. It would also increase your fame and many investors would see your land as a good land for investment. This will help your state increase it's revenue.

I feel its a very good develeopment for chennai as these It companies grow up with a rapid pace.It increases the earning capacity of people and will improve the standard of living too

More over being the capital of Tamil Nadu and a metro city more and more companies are stepping into chennai and establish very well.Offcourse there are some disadvantages but it can be overcome.
