The absolute best thing to do is get many quotes from many different contractors. CHECK REFERRALS AND PAST WORK!!! You do not want a contractor that is only going to actually be there maybe an hour a day.
Remember, in the contracting world, you do not always get what you pay for. The most expensive contractor may not always be the best and the least expensive contractor can sometimes be the best.
Check your contractors HARD before you decide on one.
