Modern and Old time..............Life????  

Oh ! There is a big difference! I can say there is difference in every aspect! Right from the thoughts, emotions to physical things. Unfortunately today we find every one has become very competitive and earning money seems to be the prime aim in their lives. Working couples have become common. They have one or maximim two kids and they live in nuclear family.During old days father used to be the earning member and mother used to look after the family whichg on an average used to have 5 to 6 children.

Mode of entertainmemt has changed a lot. In olden days having a Valve Radio set used to be a big luxury for a common man, there were only News papers and Magazines apart from Radio as mass media for information and entertainment. Today the picture is totally different we have sattelite paid TV channels, electronic euipments like satellite Radio part from ordinaty FM band Radio, Internet has boomed up and has become a most popular media, where we can have information about the world on our finger tips.

No body could even dare to dream about the Google Earth , what we are having today!

Communication has improved in leaps and bounds , an average middl;e class Indian used to have a Bicycle as his Vehicle, which today has replaced by Cars, And higher middle class people are roaming in imported Cars. Travelling by air today is no more a luxury ! Telephones then were hardly seen in doimestic GHouseholds, unless one was too rich! Today even a milk vendor carrys a Mobile Phone!

Education system has got changed. Previously we used to have one or two Professional colleges throught the state, now we have more than some Dozens of thenm in each big City! Well I am really doubtful if this is for good or bad! Lakhs of Engineers are poured out every year in each state !

Todays Child never knows what the traditional street games and sports are like as they hardly have seen any of them for that matter they even not left with the large open grounds today, which we as a kids used to have in ample to paly around. Today the natural jungles have been occupied or replaced by High raised concrete jungles every where.
In nut shell every thing has changed today !

Emotions, attachments, bonds, sentiments, Moral values, customs and traditions were most valued things in the past and in the Modern times it has got replaced by westernisation and things are in state of utter confusion in the minds of Modern youth as he is unable to decidecwhich thing is better weather our traditional concept or the Modern Western concept! Well still some people are there who are still stuck to old beliefs and values and I think that is a saving grace!
