Could you please explain your meaning of Dark Witch?

I am a witch also. But I do not see myself as a White or Dark Witch...
I would be able to better respond if I understood your meaning of the term.:)

yes i could explain to you all better by what i mean.i am a Wiccan also but through the dark side,meaning the night.there are ppl out there that are of the nightkind.but i know what you are thinking.that that doesnt make one a dark witch.i just phrase that when i am talking to ppl that i am a witch but through the darkness.i hope this is sinking in....lol.but in Konstantinos' book,nocturnal witchcraft:magick after dark,he says,that there are many out there are confused with the term of "dark".he puts it that we nightkind are drawn to the darkness.that we work,do our rituals,everything in night.same as he is,he is a dark neo-pagan witch.he calls himself dark b/c he is more intunned to the dark.let it be known that dark is not evil.the ether of the night is where shadows have lerked around for centuries and and is now just coming out of the dark.but as for the same practices in Wicca,we do almost the same way.just use black candles to show the deities that we are dark,and call mainly to the Dark Gods and Goddesses of night.meaning like,Hekate,The Morrigan,Selene,Demeter,and you know the list goes on!but as i mentioned b4,that dark is the same as the part where we practice our religion through the Wicca.it is sort of called,eclectic.we do it our own way,int the way that fits us to practice.please,if you find time to look up his site,maybe it will give you more ideas to what we are refering to,but please go to www.Konstantinos.com.there,he will have his books that he has wrote and a brief biography of him also.thanks for the concern of the topic,i really appreciate the post.i am glad to have explain to you all what "dark witch" means to myself.

I thought that sense you had not be practicing that long that maybe you were misguided on what Wicca is. I thought that you were some young kid claiming to be Wiccan trying to practice "dark magic"
My sincerest apologies for my obviously incorrect assumption about you.
I have no problem with that term now.
I am actually the opposite I do most of my rituals and such during the day and I focus more on the "light". I call mainly upon the God Amon Ra.

more less b/c i practice my Wicca practices in the night.i am intunned with the night,and have a very strong powers through the night.meant to say that i have stronger powers in the night more better than the day.no,i aint no kid,lol.but i do practice my magick through the dark.i may sound sorta creepy to some ppl in my town.they look frightened by me when i go to the stores,and such.but i am not evil.i dont believe in the devil exists!but i just basically have dark powers of the dark fold.

I am not a day person at all....I draw my power and feel more alive at night.:)

yes,i agree with ya on that one friend.that everything has it's own balance.but as far as the question that you asked,light witches,they are more different than the dark witches.light witches work their magick in the day,and than of course the dark witches at night.but the part of evil is uncomonly known in our religion.thus,we try to keep a balanced circle when we do our rites.for if not,than i would hate to know what would happen!but,dark witches,explaining it in more of a easier way,is that we practice our religion of wicca at night.we are more powerful witches at night.we were made for the night.if that makes any sense.but to answer the main question on "what is a dark witch" is the fact that we are the same as the white witches,light witches,day witches,whatever ppl want to call them.the thing is is that we practice the same religion,call on the same Deities for the most part depending on who we prefer,and we abide by the Witches Rede.the only difference is that we are more powerful witches at night,so thus,we prefer the night.and that's what makes a dark witch.as for the light witches,i dunno if there are more of them than us.i say so.but never have looked at it in that way though.
thanks for the comment,i think it is gr8 that i try to get ppl to understand my point of view on the dark side of Wicca.i know that there are a million out there that is confused probably if they heard that term.

yes i remember ya,thanks for the response.i agree,that the Dark Goddess does have the power of Witchcraft,magick,the night,moon,ghosts,and that other one.i have studied alot about the others also bbut i am intunned with Hecate,i am like sorta drawn to Her.being a dark Witch of the Wicca religion,is just simple.it is just backwards.meaning practice my rites in the night.i dont call no other Gods of the devil,i only call the deities of the Wicca.
