| | I live in Mississippi. The cost of living is pretty good here too. I live in an area that is rich in Civil War history if someone is interested in that. It doesn't interest me much at all but I know there are a lot of people that are. Elvis's birthplace is about 45 miles away. There are casinos in North, south, and mid Mississippi if you enjoy that. What I find interesting is the Delta area, rich in blues history. You'll find some good fried catfish all over the state. The gulf coast is beautiful but I haven't been there since Katrina hit. I know it destroyed a lot of the old beautiful buildings including Beauvoir (Jefferson Davis' home). There is the Indian Reservation down in Philadelphia, MS. You'll find a lot of old Antebellum homes all over the state. William Faulkner's home is in Oxford. | | | | | | |

| | I love West Virginia. I have lived here all my life. The people are just the nicest people you will ever meet. West Virginia is known for its green hills. If you like to hike, there is the Mongengalia National Forest or any of the State Parks. If fishing is your thing, just park your truck by any river and sit back and relax with that fishing pole. There are lots of fairs and festivals all over the state in summer. White water rafting is a great activity here as well as skiing resorts. How about camping at the Holly River State Park it is a beautifl wooded park with hiking, swimming and other activiities available. We must not forget the Cass Scenic Railroad. You can get a glimpse of the past while riding on the train. Are you intersted in coal mining. There is a coal mine that you can go in and see what is like underground While we are on the subject of underground, how about all the caverns that are underground. Can you belive that beauty. Seneca Caverns is my favorite and Senaca rock is nearby for that hike. | | | | | | |

| | I love Colorado! Never been to Texas and heard that it's one big flatland place, LOL. No harm intended here ;-) I grew up in Colorado and love hiking and climbing in the mountains that are close by. There are tons of places to see and visit like the Garden of the Gods (which is my favorite), the Air Force Academy, and the Cliff Dwellings and too many more to mention here. It's an awesome state and if you have never been here I would recommend visiting the western half of Colorado. The motto here is: if you don't like the weather wait ten minutes and it will change, LOL. For the most part that is true. | | | | | | |

| | We took a vaction to Colorado a few years ago and loved it. Went on the Durango train and saw Garden of the Gods. My family still teases me for being afraid of the mountain heights, especially driving on the mountains! I am used to the flatness of Texas, thank you! lol | | | |

| | I live in Indiana. The northern part, where I live, has lot of lakes for swimming and fishing. I love the change of seasons, how everything turns green in the spring, and red and gold in the fall. I love the how the snow glistens at night in the winter, while it's still fresh and hasn't been trampled and driven upon. Our seasons are usually moderate, not as hot or as cold as it can get in other parts of the country. Southern Indiana, where my dad's family lives, has hills and beautiful scenery. I always loved visiting my grandparents down there, they had a little farm that sat on a hill, and you could look across the valley to see another little farm. It was like a picture postcard! | | | | | | |

| | I live in Fort Worth Texas and I enjoy it. The winters are mild compared to what I was used to. There is always something to do if you look. I even like to go downtown and just walk around. I lived the first half of my life in upper Indiana. And I like that area also. I only moved here because the rest of my family did. Since then, they've all moved back. I stayed because my husband says "no way". He doesn't like the snow in the winter. What I like in Indiana is that its a slower paced living. People aren't in a hurry like they are here. Also the area that we lived in had a lot of Amish and Mennonite influence - so the culture was interesting. | | | | | | |
